Tilkah Brangus is situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW on the banks of the Manning River. We have been breeding this very versatile breed of cattle for nearly 30 years. During that time we have sold bulls and females the length of Australia from Melbourne to Townsville. Our cattle are medium framed with an emphasis on a high muscle to bone ratio, excellent milking and mothering ability as well as temperament that has to be seen to be believed. A range of Brahman percentages are bred to cater for clients north and south of us with the majority around the low to mid forty percent mark.
Cattle are reared under commercial conditions, including bulls. None are force fed on grain so they are ready to go to work when they leave our property. A mixture of country ranging from alluvial river flats to ridges in the back paddocks ensures that cattle are subjected to maximum and varied feed regimes early and rotation ensures muscle build and sound feet.
